Description

A leading nonprofit mental health provider in Minnesota is hiring a Director of Compliance & Quality to lead organization-wide compliance and quality initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven organization that has been transforming community mental health for over 50 years. This strategic leadership role ensures adherence to legal, ethical, and professional standards in the delivery of mental health services.

Responsibilities

Compliance Program Oversight

+ Coordinate external reviews

+ Manage licensing and certification

+ Lead internal investigations and policy oversight

+ Resolve complaints and grievances

+ Develop and implement corrective action plans

Quality Program Leadership

+ Develop annual quality measures

+ Monitor and report performance

+ Conduct sentinel event reviews

+ Lead quality audits and assessments

Organizational Reporting & Supervision

+ Provide regular updates to executive leadership and the Board

+ Supervise leaders in Safety & Security, Privacy & Records Management, and Liability Insurance Management

Requirements

Required:

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ 7+ years in compliance, quality, or regulatory oversight

+ 5+ years in a management role

+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional organizational change

+ Ability to pass background and federal screenings

Preferred:

+ Advanced degree in healthcare administration, law, or related field

+ Experience in healthcare compliance or quality assurance

+ Certifications such as CPHQ, CHC, CHPC, or ASQ
