    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for readying and turning over units, performing routine maintenance tasks across various trades, including electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, drywall, carpentry, and HVAC. This role involves apartment renovation and demolition, preventive maintenance, and performing emergency on-call services for after-hours maintenance projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare and turnover units as needed.

    + Conduct routine maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, drywall, carpentry, and HVAC.

    + Perform apartment renovation and demolition.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of facilities.

    + Respond to emergency on-call services for after-hours maintenance-related projects.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in maintenance tasks including preventive maintenance, HVAC, and facilities maintenance.

    + Ability to perform building repairs, plumbing, and drywall tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Excellent skills in drywall or plumbing.

    + Understanding of trades to install light fixtures, switches, outlets, toilets, sinks, plumbing lines, etc.

    + Ability to organize work, manage time, and follow through on details.

    + Additional certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical are advantageous.

    + Experience in apartment, residential, or multi-family environments is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based on-site at the Lockport facilities. The standard shift is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Lockport, NY.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
