Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Electrical and Electronic Systems Assembler. You will play a crucial role in assembling and troubleshooting electrical components, utilizing your skills in mechanical and electronic systems. This position is perfect for individuals who have a passion for working on cutting-edge electrical projects and want to contribute to a leading supplier in the electronics industry.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings using rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro-welding equipment.

+ Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic components to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.

+ Clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.

+ Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.

+ Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.

+ Confer with supervisors to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.

+ Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical & electronic troubleshooting skills on boards.

+ Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes, voltmeters, analyzers, scopes, and other electrical testing equipment.

+ Experience with assembly, soldering, and mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Trade School Certificate.

+ Technical degree in Electronics or a similar field is preferred.

+ 1+ years of experience performing component-level troubleshooting and repair of analog and digital circuits.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wappingers Falls, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
