    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Ventura, California. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key role in managing cash applications, account reconciliations, and financial settlements while collaborating across departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.     Responsibilities:

    • Retrieve daily cash activity from bank accounts and allocate funds accurately based on remittance details.

    • Collaborate with collectors to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

    • Coordinate settlements between Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams.

    • Investigate unapplied payments, ensuring proper application in coordination with clients and collectors.

    • Perform regular reconciliations of financial reports across bank systems, GetPaid, and Oracle.

    • Review and address tickets related to Accounts Receivable on a daily basis.

    • Respond promptly to requests from auditors and provide necessary documentation.

    • Reconcile and upload payments into the company’s financial platform with precision.

    • Partner with other departments to complete month-end bank account reconciliations.

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute recommendations to enhance efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.

    • Proficiency in managing cash applications and commercial collections processes.

    • Strong knowledge of billing functions and cash activity monitoring.

    • Ability to perform accurate account reconciliations and resolve payment discrepancies.

    • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients.

    • Demonstrated ability to meet departmental goals and activity metrics.

    • Familiarity with financial platforms such as GetPaid and Oracle is preferred.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling financial data.
