    Facility:Mathile Center for Mental Health and WellnessDepartment:Behavorial Crisis ServicesSchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:The Assistant Manager is supported by and in collaboration with the Manager of Behavioral Crisis Services has authority, responsibility, and accountability for the daily planning, organizing and directing of all operational and clinical aspects of patient care in the department. Assists with directing and monitoring care coordination, emergency behavioral health pre-screening, psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and referral management to patients and their families. The Assistant Manager will assist the Manager of Crisis Services as a clinical support and educator to the Behavioral Crisis Services team. Provides input into operating and capital budgets with budget parameters monitored as requested. Performance appraisals for staff are completed annually in conjunction with the Manager of Behavioral Crisis Services. Assists with reviewing, developing, and implementing initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction across the department. Assists staff to proactively identify patient/family needs and/or concerns. Completes leader rounding with patients/families and seeks resolution to any concerns. Assists with reviewing, developing, and implementing initiatives to improve patient satisfaction across the department.

    Department Specific Job Details:

    Education

    Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited program required.

     

    Supervision designation preferred.

    Experience

    Post-Master’s experience in a mental health treatment or healthcare setting required.

     

    4-6 years clinical experience with children and adolescents, preferably in a crisis or inpatient setting preferred.

     

    License/Certifications

     

    LISW or LPCC. Current license in Ohio---Counselor, social work, or marriage and family therapist board required.

    Schedule:

    Full time, 40 hours

     

    Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
