    Job Summary

    Manages dedicated team in efficient, effective preventive and corrective building maintenance activities at assigned locations. This includes company offices, garages, and power stations. Performs facility services and facility-related improvement and renovation projects. Coordinates and performs employee group moves and office reconfigurations to support group business needs. Maintains effective communications and relationships with facility customers. Leads employees and contractors, stressing excellent customer service and performing all phases of improvements, repairs, and renovations satisfactorily. Provides employee development, training, and performance feedback. Serves as first responder to facilities-related requests and emergencies, for assigned locations. This position requires the ability to work varying shifts, nights, weekends and during emergency situations.

     

    Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

     

    6+ years directly-related experience in facility maintenance and operations, including managing projects, buildings, and teams.

     

    + Detailed, technical knowledge of facility operations, systems, and equipment.

    + Knowledge of facility-related local laws, state laws, federal laws, codes, and permit requirements.

    + Proficiency in SAP.

    + Good planning, organizational, budgeting, and project management skills.

    + Strong team-building and customer relations skills.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple facilities over a large geographic area.

    Education Requirements

    Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

    Associate

     

    Preferred Discipline(s): Maintenance Technology, Air Conditioning

     

    Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.

    Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description

    + Technical certifications in either HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc. preferred.

    + BOMA – Facilities Management Certificate (FMC), preferred.

    + IFMA – Facility Management Professional Certification (FMP), preferred.

    + Valid Driver's license, required.
