As a FSR Field Service Representative - Turbo Compressor (TCP) you will travel to different client facilities across the US and someinternational. You will provide technical advisory services on centrifugalcompressor product lines and accessory equipment. Your responsibilities includescheduled maintenance, installing upgrades or new equipment, and responding tounplanned events. Your role is crucial in improving equipment reliability andreducing downtime! You will facilitate communication between field personneland Siemens Energy engineering centers, ensuring flawless execution of tasks.Documenting clearances, addressing technical queries, and managing job progressare essential for your success!
How You’ll Make An Impact
+ **Maintainthe highest level of a zero-harm culture by following and enforcing allcompany and customer EHS policies and programs.**
+ **Interactwith different levels of customer and Siemens organizations to reportprogress, resolve issues, and identify potential services to be offeredbased on customer needs.**
+ **Performcomplex problem solving on machinery and ancillary systems. Coordinatewith engineering in reporting and implementing changes to resolve issues.**
+ **Providetechnical direction to client or Siemens Energy employees. Communicateprogress, schedules, and open items with client; Prepare detailedtechnical reports.**
+ **Travelfor extended periods of time, both domestic and some international asassigned. (International assignments may include travel to developingcountries.)**
+ **Ableto perform duties on day or night shift under difficult conditions, heat,cold, noise, etc. Able to travel on short notice and work weekends andholidays. Physical ability to climb ladders and work around machinery.**
What You Bring
+ **HighSchool Diploma/GED and equivalent experience is required. Bachelor'sdegree is preferred.**
+ **7+years of direct related experience overhauling centrifugal compressors(turbo-compressors, axial flow bladed compressors, integrally-gearedcompressors). Advanced proficiency in precision measurement techniques.Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and technicaldocuments.**
+ **Excellentand professional communication skills both written and oral. This includesthe ability to hold difficult discussions with customers to protectcompany interests; negotiating skills are a valuable plus. Must beproficient using Microsoft Office and web-based portals.**
+ **Basicunderstanding of instrumentation and control systems, PLC’s, etc.**
+ **Basiccommercial knowledge to understand contract deliverables and identifyitems or work that falls outside these boundaries so additional fundingfrom the customer can be pursued.**
+ **Musthold valid driver’s license and either holds or is able to obtain apassport and TWIC card. Ability to complete offshore survival training ifrequested.**
Applicants must be legally authorizedfor employment in the United States without need for urgent or futureemployer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with currentvisa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
