    Akima Intra-Data is looking for a EMCS Technician to join our team supporting Keesler AFB.

    Responsibilities

    + Operates and maintains Keesler Air Force Base Emergency Management and Controls Systems to monitor, interpret, analyze and control connected HVAC systems to minimize abnormal conditions and accomplish on-line maintenance and repair tasks.

    + Utilizes JCI Metasys, MISSION Controls, SIEMENS and TAC INET systems to operate and monitor base heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and Water systems.

    + Monitor base water wells and lift stations for the purpose of identifying potential problems and to disseminate information to base personnel.

    + Acts as after-hours customer service and dispatch responsible for entering data into official logs and tracking in the Air Force Civil Engineering Next Generation IT System (NGIT).

    Qualifications

    + High School diploma or equivalent.

    + Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical and utilities systems.

    + Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints and technical manuals.

    + Minimum 1 year of documented experience as an EMCS Operator.

    + Minimum 3-5 years documented experience with HVAC systems.

    + Computer proficient on MS Office products.
