    Position Summary/Description:

    The UNC Department of Psychiatry is seeking a board eligible/certified physician to help in the evaluation and management of emergency room patients presenting with behavioral health concerns. Applicants interested in working less than full-time but at least 50% time will also be considered. The psychiatrist will be involved in diagnostic evaluations, treatment recommendations, and medication management of patients presenting. This would be an onsite job in the UNC Hospital Emergency Room and require some shift work but primarily be days.
