Lead Transporter

We’re looking for a dedicated Lead Transporter to support and guide our patient transport team while ensuring the safe, timely, and compassionate movement of patients and supplies throughout the hospital.

Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate and oversee daily patient transport activities to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.

+ Safely and efficiently transport patients and medical supplies to and from the Radiology Department and other areas.

+ Support and assist technologists with patient transfers to and from imaging tables.

+ Ensure the proper handling and transport of IV pumps/poles, oxygen tanks, and patient charts.

+ Provide guidance and training to new or junior transport staff as needed.

+ Maintain clear communication with clinical staff to prioritize transport requests.

+ Monitor transport schedules to minimize patient wait times and support departmental goals.

+ Foster a safe, calm, and supportive environment for patients during transport.

+ Assist with general messenger duties when needed.

Job Requirements:

+ High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience required.

+ Prior experience in a healthcare setting required.

+ Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

+ Strong communication and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range

Starting from USD $28.69/Hr.
