Advana is the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) enterprise-wide, multi-domain data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) platform that provides all DoD military and civilian decision makers, analysts, and builders with unprecedented access to enterprise data, tools, and capabilities.
The Chief Data/AI Engineer shall work in conjunction with the Chief Engineer and be responsible for leading the DevSecOps of data analytic, AI/ML models, RPA applications and decision support applications, including template or sample applications for each, using the Advana multi-cloud and multi-enclave Platform.
Required Qualifications:
+ Minimum of five years of experience with full lifecycle and secure and automated development of at least one of the following: data management, data analytics or Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML).
+ Active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience with data visualization packages in Python or similar programming languages.
+ Experience with supervised and unsupervised deep learning algorithms like Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) and advanced deep learning packages such as TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch, Caffe, and Theano.
+ Experience with one of the large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions similar to AWS, MS Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
+ Experience utilizing Agile development methodologies and Application Lifecycle Management.
+ Experience working with programming languages such as Java, C++, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, Pig/Hive, and/or Elixir.
+ Master’s Degree in a related technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science) with specialization in one or more of the following (e.g., Data Science, AI, or Robotic Process Automation).

The likely salary range for this position is $125,528 - $169,832. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
