Advana is the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) enterprise-wide, multi-domain data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) platform that provides all DoD military and civilian decision makers, analysts, and builders with unprecedented access to enterprise data, tools, and capabilities.
Duties include:
+ The Chief Engineer shall act as the lead for engineering, positioning, designing, developing, and deploying solutions, including the oversight of all integration efforts into their intended systems and subsystems.
+ Direct the efforts of all product line teams at multiple locations and serve as the primary interface and POC for all engineering-related issues.
+ Ensure that any technologies incorporated into or developed under this Contract do not conflict with the program baseline.
+ Ensure the most advanced technology vendors are engaged in the process and the program has reach across relevant industry, DoD organizations and the open-source community to engage the best solutions.
+ Be accountable for the end-to-end cloud and Platform provisioning experience.
Required Qualifications:
+ Minimum of five years of experience with Architecting and Engineering systems using DevSecOps, agile development practices, and Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
+ Active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience highlighting proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java, Scala, C++).
+ Experience in architecting and engineering federated multi-cloud solutions.
+ Experience with data analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) model development, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development, secure application development, software lifecycle management, and DoD compliant cloud infrastructure.
+ Experience with architecting and engineering cloud-neutral, cloud-native, and open-source solutions.
+ One of (or similar to) the following professional certifications:
+ Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA).
+ Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect (Professional).
+ Master’s Degree in a related technical discipline (e.g., Data Science, AI, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science)

The likely salary range for this position is $125,528 - $169,832. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
