Job Description:
Summary:
The Commercial Credit Coordinator will be responsible for managing the Credit Department’s assignments and assisting with commercial loan monitoring. Managing assignments requires the workflow logs be updated with information received via underwriting queues and the general credit inbox throughout the day. Loan monitoring responsibilities include maintaining the borrowing base, financial reporting, covenant tests and tickler systems, creating ad hoc reports, and working with Credit Analysts to update credit files. In addition, the associate will be responsible for analyzing detailed borrowing base certificates, AR aging reports, and loan agreements. It is essential that the associate has strong time management and organizational skills, as well as, a high level of attention to detail. The Credit Department must maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency while meeting tight deadlines. This position will not have any management or supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Maintain oversight of the General Credit Inbox and address all communication routed through by email
+ Review accuracy of borrowing base certificates provided by the bank’s customers against the formula defined within the loan documentation and enter data into a reporting system
+ Upon request, analyze cross aging, concentration and past due levels in accounts receivable aging and notify relationship manager when issues arise
+ Monitor underwriting queues and work alongside Credit Analysts in the completion of customer file reviews
+ Utilize loan documents to identify covenant monitoring and reporting requirements, and confirm they are accurately reflected in the banks monitoring systems
+ Review loan, credit, and collateral documents submitted from Loan Coordinators, Relationship Managers, and third parties to determine if documents are acceptable and in accordance with bank policy and update ticklers accordingly
+ Be an active participant in developing policies and procedures focused on increasing department efficiency
+ Create and distribute exception, loan analysis, productivity and other reports
+ Participate in bank wide pilot groups and project teams on an as needed basis
**Qualifications** :
+ Detail oriented
+ Proven time management and organizational skills
+ Previous exposure to financial statements necessary, borrowing base certificates, loan agreements/amendments, and compliance certificates is beneficial
+ Proficient communication skills, written and verbal, to all levels of management
+ Collaborative mindset when working on joint projects across multiple departments
+ Adaptable and able to work within a fluid department that is growing and undertaking additional responsibilities
+ Computer savvy, ability to embrace and learn new technology
**Supervisory Responsibilities** :

**Education and/or Experience** :
+ Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or one to three years of commercial banking experience in an administrative or operations capacity
**Computer and Software Skills** :
+ Skilled in operation of a personal computer, including Microsoft Office, with strong capabilities in Excel
