Job Title: Project Manager

Type: 12 month Contract

Compensation: $86.00 - $89.00 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Hybrid

Hours: Monday and Fridays remote, Tuesday - Thursday in office

System One is currently seeking a Project Manager on a 12 month contract position located in Denver, CO.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

+ Manages capital improvement projects for the company's gas system, specifically non-pipeline assets such as regulator stations, odorization facilities, compressor stations, and other fixed assets.

+ Responsible for overseeing full project life cycle from concept to close-out: funding requests, engineering coordination, stakeholder engagement, procurement (quotes, POs, vendors), execution and finalization.

+ Projects include replacements, relocations and upgrades.

+ Manage project deliverables based on project phase.

+ Regular coordination with internal teams (engineering, operations, SMEs and procurement) and external stakeholders (vendors, cities, municipalities).

+ No daily task assignment; PMs follow the project lifecycle and manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholders communication.

Project Manager Requirements:

+ Communication and stakeholder management

+ Project lifecycle management/organization

+ Accountability and ability to drive timelines

+ Budget adherence

+ Coordination across multiple teams

+ 5-7 years as a Project manager, preferably with gas utility experience

+ Combination of 2-3 years gas experience plus PM background is acceptable

+ PMP certification and Engineering background preferred

+ Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum)

+ Prior experience in gas utilities, pipeline facilities, or refineries
