Job Title: D&I / Talent Management Specialist
Type: Contract
Work Model: Hybrid (2–3 days/week onsite)
Compensation: $40–$55 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Contract Length: 6 months (December start, with potential for full-time consideration)
Position Summary
This role has a primary focus on Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) with additional involvement in Talent Management (TM). The specialist will support strategic initiatives, not just execution, helping to enhance organizational culture, engagement, and inclusivity across the company.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, HR, Communications, or related field.
+ 3–5+ years of experience driving organizational change, communications, and/or employee engagement.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of D&I best practices, cultural competence, and relevant laws/regulations.
+ Strong data analytics skills: ability to build regular reporting dashboards and conduct ad-hoc analyses that generate actionable insights.
+ Excellent organization and project management abilities; able to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
+ Strong interpersonal and cross-functional leadership skills.
+ Experience with Workday or similar HR platforms a plus.
+ Relevant D&I certifications a plus (e.g., DISC facilitation).
+ HRIS experience preferred.
+ Basic proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Experience leading Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) is a plus.
Responsibilities
+ Support the implementation of a global Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging strategy alongside the D&I Director, Council, and ERGs.
+ Operationalize D&I Council and ERG structures, including hierarchy, position design, and meeting cadence.
+ Support creation, growth, and operation of ERGs, empowering members to drive meaningful change.
+ Stay current on D&I research and best practices within the CPG industry and apply relevant insights.
+ Develop and distribute internal communications for D&I initiatives.
+ Ensure compliance with all diversity, equity, and inclusion-related laws and regulations.
+ Collect, analyze, and report on talent metrics for the broader Talent Management function to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
