Position Title: Industrial Engineer
Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Education & Experience Requirements
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field required.
+ Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
+ Experience working on continuous improvement projects.
+ Strong background in data analytics and report building.
Job Summary
The Industrial Engineer assists with the design, improvement, and implementation of integrated manufacturing or administrative systems that optimize the use of people, materials, information, equipment, and energy. The role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, supporting production line optimization, and driving continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist in creating standard work methods for new and existing production lines.
+ Support the design of safe and efficient workstations using ergonomic, plant layout, and workstation design principles.
+ Conduct cost analyses for make-or-buy decisions on components or sub-assemblies.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, safety, and quality.
+ Utilize data-driven analysis and simulation tools to support decision-making in manufacturing design and improvement initiatives.

+ Ergonomic Fundamentals: Apply ergonomic standards and tools to reduce risk and improve workplace safety.
+ Health and Safety Fundamentals: Promote a proactive health and safety culture and contribute to injury-free operations.
+ Line Balancing: Evaluate and optimize work distribution to meet changing customer demands efficiently.
+ Manufacturing Analysis Led Design: Use digital modeling and simulation tools for process improvements.
+ Process Layout & Work Measurement: Design optimized manufacturing processes and quantify work steps to minimize waste.
+ Drawing Interpretation: Integrate product and equipment drawings to support process design and development.
+ Industrial Engineering Knowledge: Apply industrial engineering principles and data analysis to improve manufacturing efficiency.
