With over $4 trillion in assets under management across our intermediary channel, Vanguard's FAS division is already a market leader. Our next chapter focuses on deepening advisor connectivity by transforming how we engage, support, and empower financial professionals. Through modernized tools, streamlined processes, and a digitally enabled, insight-rich distribution model, we’re building a more intuitive and integrated experience for advisors. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping that future.

The Product Manager for Personalization and Next Best Action (NBA) will lead the orchestration of data-driven personalization strategies that span digital and sales channels. This role is responsible for designing and operationalizing scalable segmentation frameworks, real-time decisioning engines, and optimizing FAS’s lead scoring system to drive superior client outcomes and business impact.

This leader will serve as a strategic connector across platforms, and teams—ensuring that segmentation models, NBA logic, and signal-based triggers are aligned to maximize advisor engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Product Leadership & Strategy

+ Own the end-to-end NBA and Segmentation vision and strategy, including roadmap development, prioritization frameworks, and cross-functional alignment.

+ Lead the Signals program, FAS’s insight distribution platform for sales, ensuring behavioral and engagement signals are captured, modeled, and activated across journeys and campaigns.

+ Partner with analytics, digital, and sales teams to define and refine segmentation and decisioning logic using modeled and custom segments.

+ Translate strategic hypotheses into measurable pilots and scaled programs, with clear success metrics and feedback loops.

    Execution & Enablement

+ Operationalize NBA logic using predictive models and business rules to deliver real-time, personalized advisor outreach.

+ Partner with Client Journey Owners to define segmentation use-cases and activate for digital journeys and experiences.

+ Collaborate with technology and data teams to ensure infrastructure supports dynamic segmentation and signal ingestion.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

+ Serve as a connective tissue across Distribution Enablement, Digital, and Sales to ensure NBA and segmentation strategies are embedded in go-to-market plans.

+ Partner with Content Strategy to translate segmentation insights into tailored messaging and experiences.

+ Support the prioritization and scoping through structured frameworks and signal-based opportunity scoring.

    Measurement & Optimization

+ Establish OKRs and measurement frameworks to assess program impact, advisor engagement, and business outcomes.

+ Continuously refine NBA and segmentation strategies based on performance data, feedback, and evolving business needs.

+ Instills an experimentation mindset, mentoring others to define, construct, and experiment from experimentation.

    Qualifications

+ 8–12 years of experience in product management, marketing strategy, or sales enablement.

+ Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives that blend data, technology, and client insights.

+ Strong understanding of segmentation methodologies, predictive modeling, and personalization engines.

+ Experience with CRM/CDP platforms, marketing automation tools, and data visualization.

+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

+ Systems thinker with a bias for action.

+ Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity across teams.

+ Passionate about using data to unlock scalable, personalized experiences.

+ Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
