    Job Description Summary

    Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Fuel & Digital Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy and is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    + Responsible for developing and managing cross functional, technology led, or product focused programs. Manages budgets and interfaces with contractors, suppliers, customers and internal functions. Manages program resource and budget allocation/integration. Manages schedule, budget, and tollgate process for NPI, requisition, or sustaining programs. Influences the programs to meet customer CTQs.

    + Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.

    + In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

    + Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

    + A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

    + 4 years of experience in engineering, science, computing, math, or technical program management capacity.

    Desired Characteristics

    + Practitioner and / or expert of Lean practices.

    + Proven ability to be a liaison between functional organizations.

    + High performing individual with demonstrated ability to deliver results while exhibiting behaviors that promote strong team performance, change agent able to make the case for lean and demonstrate immediate impact.

    + Proven interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to think strategically, be creative and move quickly to articulate and then operationalize the business vision/strategy into tactile actions.

    + Experience with project management skillset (communication, risk, planning/scheduling, change management)

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Demonstrated ability to document, plan, market and manage programs that further the knowledge, understanding and capability of the business

     

    _The salary range for this position is_ **_$98,400 - $164,000_** _USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location._ _In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation._ _This posting is expected to close on November 7th or thereafter._

     

    _*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas._
