We are currently seeking a **Total Rewards & Mobility Advisor, Drilling Services** to join our Boart Longyear team in Salt Lake City, UT.
Responsibilities:
+ Administer the Canadian pension plan
+ Collect, reconcile, and review participant data – identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
+ Prepare termination, retirement, and death benefits packages for members of pension plans.
+ Calculate and prepare event statements and payment authorizations from pension administration system or manually.
+ Review and analyze membership data.
+ Prepare annual member statements.
+ Calculate Pension Adjustments (PA), Pension Adjustment Reversals (PAR), and Past Service Pension Adjustments (PSPA)
+ Communicate with employees and HRBP’s regarding pension plan.
+ Assist employees with new enrollments, changes, and access to account information.
+ Complete all required pension reporting and filing.
+ Perform all work in accordance with rigorous quality control and audit requirements.
+ Interpret and apply the provisions of the plans and the various applicable laws.
+ Produce ad hoc reports.
+ Oversee total rewards for North America including:
+ Compensation (Comp Workbench)
+ Support with compensation plan design, long-term incentives, annual bonus plan calculations, annual salary planning, and grade/range movement
+ Partner with HR/IT on performance management and HR systems
+ Support online employee awards and recognition program (Bravo)
+ Communicate and support Employee Assistance Program (Telus Health/Blomquist Hale)
+ Assist with employee mobility between Canada, the United States, and other countries as required
+ Serve as liaison with external counsel as needed
+ Coordinate, administer and ensure compliance of all immigration and relocation assignments in Canada and the United States
+ Develop, implement and manage immigration and relocation policies and processes for Drilling Services Canada and US
+ Assist assignees with immigration needs and manage policy exceptions
+ Educate stakeholders on immigration matters
+ Advise management and HR business partners on policy applicability
+ Counsel assignees on the international assignment, immigration, and tax equalization policies
+ Analyze and report on assignment activity to HR
+ Prepare and review cost projections and assignment approvals for senior management
+ Prepare and review assignment letters
+ Coordinate across borders on assignment set-up, payroll and ongoing issues
+ Develop relationships and liaise with external service companies for the international relocation, tax, social security and immigration services
+ Manage and update housing and other allowances
+ Support North America & EMEA Drilling Services with communications
+ Update and maintain the Underground intranet page
+ Develop and distribute internal communications
+ Other HR tasks as needed
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Compensation, or a related field
+ HR certification an asset
+ Experience with pension plans (Defined Contribution)
+ Experience with compensation and total rewards
+ 3+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Exceptional analytical skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
+ Positive attitude, team oriented, ability to actively listen and adapt
+ Excellent attention to detail
+ Ability to prioritize tasks in a changing environment
+ Demonstrated ability to form relationships with key stakeholders
+ Strong commitment to client service
