    This position offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic program management activities that enhance operational effectiveness, drive successful deployment outcomes, and ensure alignment across our global ERP transformation.

     

    You will report directly to our IT Director of Transformation Office and Governance, working out of one of our Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC locations on a hybrid work schedule.

     

    In this role, you will impact the organization by ensuring effective governance of S/4HANA programs, facilitating collaboration among business and IT stakeholders, managing dependencies across deployment waves, and driving the successful execution of transformation initiatives that align with our strategic objectives while delivering measurable business value.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Lead and manage program governance for S/4HANA transformation initiatives across multiple deployment waves, ensuring consistency, control, and visibility throughout the program lifecycle.

    + Establish and maintain comprehensive program governance frameworks including stage gates, decision forums, RACI structures, and escalation protocols to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with enterprise standards.

    + Oversee program planning and execution across functional workstreams (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality) ensuring coordination, dependency management, and milestone achievement.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business process owners, technical architects, functional leads, and implementation partners to define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.

    + Drive program financial management including budget planning, tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure delivery within approved financial parameters.

    + Monitor program performance through comprehensive KPI dashboards, milestone tracking, and status reporting to executive leadership and steering committees.

    + Identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues, implementing proactive mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure successful project delivery.

    + Facilitate program governance forums including steering committees, executive reviews, cross-workstream coordination meetings, and decision-making sessions.

    + Manage stakeholder expectations and communications across all organizational levels, ensuring transparency, alignment, and timely resolution of concerns.

    + Lead change management coordination by partnering with organizational change management teams to ensure business readiness, adoption planning, and training execution.

    + Ensure compliance with program management methodologies (SAP Activate, Agile/SAFe) and enterprise PMO standards while driving continuous improvement.

    + Coordinate deployment readiness activities including cutover planning, go-live preparation, hypercare support planning, and post-implementation stabilization.

    + Drive value realization by establishing benefit tracking frameworks, monitoring business outcomes, and ensuring alignment between transformation objectives and delivered results.

     

    US Person Requirement

     

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + 6+ years of experience in program management, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role managing large-scale enterprise programs.

    + Proven track record of managing complex ERP transformation programs, ideally with direct experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations or similar enterprise-scale ERP initiatives.

    + Strong knowledge of program governance frameworks, stage-gate methodologies, and PMO best practices for enterprise transformations.

    + Deep understanding of SAP implementation methodologies including SAP Activate, along with familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery approaches.

    + Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across business units, IT organizations, and third-party implementation partners in a matrix environment.

    + Experience managing multi-million dollar program budgets, resource allocation, and financial forecasting for enterprise initiatives.

    + Expertise in stakeholder management across all organizational levels, from executive leadership to operational teams, with proven ability to influence and drive consensus.

    + Proficiency with program management tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow PPM, SAP Solution Manager) to track progress, dependencies, and performance.

    + Excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information, make data-driven decisions, and present insights to executive audiences.

    + Strong risk and issue management capabilities with experience developing mitigation strategies for complex, interdependent programs.

    + Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage ambiguity, and maintain program momentum in a fast-paced, dynamic transformation environment.

    WE VALUE

    + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.

    + 8+ years of experience managing IT transformation programs with specific focus on global S/4HANA deployments across multiple regions and business units.

    + PMP, PgMP, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent program management certifications.

    + SAP certification or demonstrated expertise in SAP implementation lifecycles and methodologies.

    + Experience with RISE with SAP, S/4HANA Cloud (public/private editions), or hybrid ERP deployment models.

    + Background in Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing, or other regulated industries with complex compliance requirements.

    + Strong understanding of ERP business processes across Finance (FI/CO), Supply Chain (MM/PP), Sales (SD), Quality (QM), and Manufacturing Execution (MES).

    + Experience coordinating large-scale data migration programs, integration initiatives, and organizational change management workstreams.

    + Familiarity with DevOps, continuous delivery practices, and modern delivery frameworks in enterprise IT contexts.

    + Proven ability to establish and mature program management offices (PMO) and governance structures for transformation programs.

    + Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with ability to communicate complex program dynamics to non-technical stakeholders.

    + Experience with value realization frameworks, business case development, and benefits tracking for enterprise transformations.

    + Track record of building high-performing teams and fostering collaboration across diverse, global organizations.
