Position:
Paws Up Montana is seeking to add a Rooms Coordinator to our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This position supports an on-site operations team located at a Montana ranch resort.
The Rooms Coordinator's primary responsibility is the daily coordination of the housekeeping operations. The Rooms Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the department achieves the highest degree of service delivery through effective communication and follow up . The Rooms Coordinator serves as the liaison between the housekeeping department and Front Office, Maintenance, Activities, and Food and Beverage departments.

The Primary Functions are:
+ Handle all calls for the housekeeping department and ensures all messages, information and requests are logged, communicated promptly and accurately to provide prompt delivery of excellent service for guests.
+ Take a lead role in the coordination of all housekeeping employees and activities including office opening and closing, daily room assignments, inspection of rooms, evening service assignments, and other special tasks.
+ Maintain complete knowledge of all housekeeping services, outlets, hotel areas / features and hours of operation.
+ Responsible for communicating all operational concerns to the leadership team and proactively addressing any day-to-day operational concerns.
+ Managing a quality control inspection point chart to be filled out daily to measure team accomplishments and deficiencies daily based upon arrival, daily and turndown inspections.
+ Communicate with Director, Assistant Director of Housekeeping or Housekeeping Manager any deficiencies found with either the cleanliness or the staging of the accommodations after housekeeping has serviced the homes so that corrective measures/training can take place.
+ Reviewing all daily reports and arrival manifests for incoming guests during shift stand-up meetings to ensure that special needs from the department are met.
+ Constant communication with the Director of Housekeeping and the Front Desk Manager throughout the day keeping all parties aware of the clean status of homes. Be prepared to make changes to daily team schedules if needed to ensure check-in times are met.
+ Working with the Guest Services Manager or Conference Services Manager to ensure that all guest amenity items are properly placed prior to an accommodation being available for guest arrival.
+ Converse with the guests at a high level, being aware of their needs and fulfill special guest requests as instructed by management or the guest directly.
+ Ensure confidentiality and security of homes and camps.
+ Maintain a high level of attention to detail at all times.
+ Work in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all OSHA standards.
+ Maintain flexible hours to accommodate guest needs, due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry; Position requires full availability including evenings, weekends, holidays or as needed.
Supportive Functions and Responsibilities:
+ Display hospitality and professionalism to our guests and team members at all times , take pride in representing Paws Up Montana professionally with our guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal, ethical, and confidential manner.
+ Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Resort team members to foster and promote a positive working environment.
+ Always adhere to the Grooming Guidelines, and ensure the team around you is upholds the same
+ Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
+ Monitor and update room status in the PMS to ensure real time accuracy
+ Support special housekeeping requests for activities and group events.
+ Track room status (occupied, vacant, cleaned, inspected, out of order, etc.) in real time using PMS.
+ Communicate priorities based on events, check-ins, early arrivals, late checkouts, and special requests.
+ Serve as a communication hub between Front Desk, Maintenance, and Housekeeping to ensure timely updates on room availability and maintenance issues.
+ Update and distribute relevant reports to department leaders.
+ Assist in tracking performance metrics.
+ Follow up on maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution before guest arrival.
+ Support lost and found management procedures.
+ Respond promptly to guest requests.
+ Communicate priorities and updates to the housekeeping team during shift meetings
+ Maintain and track attendance, labor hours, and daily performance for housekeeping
Looking for Team Members with:
+ High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
+ Previous basic cleaning experience preferred, not required
+ Proven customer services skills, communication skills, and organizational skills
+ Valid State Driver’s License with two years of driving experience
