Job Summary
As the Senior Manager of Events, Campaigns, and Operations, this individual will drive employee activations, events, video production, and storytelling initiatives to inform employees and enhance the internal culture. Leading enterprise- and functional-level events such as Global All Hands, leadership gatherings, town halls, and presentations, they will champion a campaign-focused storytelling approach to fortify the enterprise employee communications team. Additionally, they will be responsible for overseeing enterprise and employee communications governance. In this role, the Senior Manager will also manage a team to ensure operational success and collaboration.
He/she will develop and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance NetApp's employee visibility and employee engagement. The manager will also collaborate closely with the key stakeholders to develop and execute an engaging communication plan that enriches the workplace experience narrative for employees.
We are looking for an experienced internal events communications manager with previous experience developing People and Culture-focused events and employee communications video content and campaign experience. Candidates must be able to develop and execute creative multi-channel event communications strategies for internal audiences and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The right candidate should have comprehensive experience in event management and internal communications. A high degree of creativity and technology domain knowledge is a plus. As Senior Manager of Events, Campaigns, and Operations, he/she will contribute to strengthening NetApp's people and culture communications, fostering employee engagement, and amplifying the NetApp story.
This role is hybrid based Raleigh, NC.
Job Requirements
+ Leads team to develop and implement a holistic event and content strategy, including a comprehensive calendar and narrative, to highlight the positive elements of NetApp’s company culture and business priorities.
+ Plan and coordinate campaign timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
+ Use employee feedback and data on the effectiveness of communication efforts to inform and approach global internal events and internal storytelling strategy.
+ Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
+ Management of enterprise and employee communications governance and templates.
+ Identify opportunities for events and employee engagement that drive innovation and differentiation to maximize impact.
+ Support a range of transformation communications programs and strategies that inform, develop knowledge, inspire and engage employees.
+ Partner closely with various integrated communications team members, Corporate Communications, and other key partners to develop internal and external communications materials and ensure alignment.
+ Collaborate with the Workplace Experience team to align event communications with workplace initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and engaging employee experience.
Education
+ 12 or more years of relevant experience in employee or internal communications, public relations, corporate communications, or related field; Inclusive of strategic and people leadership.
+ Experience working with People/HR concepts including employee experience/engagement.
+ Proven ability to work cross-functionally, build relationships within the organization, and interface regularly with key individuals and all levels of staff, including executive management.
+ Strategic thinking, analytical and data-driven, proactive execution.
+ Strong organization, program, and project management as well as content development skills.
+ Excellent written, editing, and verbal communications skills, with the demonstrated ability to turn complex ideas into stories and visual concepts.
+ Demonstrated experience in transformational programs and the ability to provide leadership in change management strategy and deliverables, while engaging multiple constituents and driving time-sensitive communications.
+ Understanding of video and multimedia production and content tools.
+ Proficient computer skills, including strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and One Drive).
+ Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field required
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 158,100 - 235,400 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
