    Job Description:

    The Vice-President Supply Chain, EndoMechanical & Energy (EM&E) is expected to lead the end-to-end supply chain organization for the EM&E business. In this role, the leader will create and implement a vision, strategy, and roadmap for the EM&E business and is responsible for driving a high performing culture. This role will partner closely with the EM&E commercial and R&D teams to ensure alignment with key business partners.

    The Global EM&E E2E Supply Chain Leader scope of major duties and responsibilities:

    + End-to-end supply chain leadership for complex global multi-billion-dollar business.

    + Accountable for establishing and communicating EM&E vision, strategies, and a roadmap for achieving quality, compliance, operational excellence, project execution and end-to-end cost effectiveness.

    + Lead a cross-functional team of key partners including Global Technical Operations (GTO), Planning, Sourcing, Internal/External Manufacturing, Deliver, Quality, Finance, and HR among others.

    + Secure demand capacity for globalization and key growing product lines.

    + Member of the OTTAVA and EM&E Supply Chain Leadership team, and Commercial EM&E Operating Committee

    + Maintain strong connection from the customer, commercial and R&D partners across the EM&E Business Unit and ensure strong partnerships with critical third-party vendors and suppliers.

    + Responsible for optimizing the EM&E supply chain to drive growth through efficiencies and performance improvements.

    + Execute a Network Optimization strategy to rationalize the facility footprint, get leverage on technology, and significantly improve efficiencies. Develop and communicate an ongoing strategy relative to the Business Unit Make organization (at all levels) — aligned with key stakeholders and the enterprise supply chain.

    + Establish, integrate, and institutionalize process leadership with global technology and engineering platforms.

    + Establish processes to derive flawless execution of Life Cycle Management and New Product Introduction launches.

    + Drive innovation in support of manufacturability and process development.

    + Align metrics and KPI's, set Performance Targets for both Internal and (aligned with) External Manufacturing Ops to meet GOC & Enterprise goals.

    + Drive standardization and synergy across the network with aligned best practices in LEAN and PE — ensure emphasis on Innovation to drive improvement.

    + Responsible for balancing and driving continuous improvement in Cost, Customer Service, and Product Quality. Ensure minimal compliance risk.

    + Responsible for managing capital investments to support growth, innovation and deliver capital efficiencies.

    + Interfaces with senior governmental and regulatory bodies. Ensures regulatory, SOX, safety and environmental compliance and manage risk to both individuals and the corporate reputation in all areas.

    + Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

    + Ensure Governance of Manufacturing Processes through technology strategy plans that link closely to the needs of the Operations and Development teams, driven from in depth knowledge of best practices in manufacturing and supply.

    + Develop and implement a comprehensive talent management strategy for the end-to-end EM&E team to build supply chain capabilities at all organizational levels. Also act as a coach for team.

    + Deliver on financial plans and commitments.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred. Degree in science, business, engineering, finance or organizational management or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

    + A minimum of 15 years of experience in managing large, multi-site, global organizations, with end-to-end supply chain experience.

    + People management experience is required.

    + 15+ years leading within a manufacturing environment preferred.

    + Biologics and MedTech manufacturing experience in line with technology platforms.

    + Understanding the global demands of the role specifically: multi-cultural / multi country locations and applicable local labor law, healthcare regulatory requirements, tax law, and logistics.

    + SAP ERP system knowledge is preferred.

    + Active member of a global business unit leadership team.Driving operational excellence across the organization, with measurable, financial, quality and cycle time results.

    + Understanding the linkages in supply chain from demand planning through delivery to customer.

    + Creating a future vision and gaining support and alignment to that vision.

    + Developing working strategic plans in alignment with the corporate strategic goals.

    + Attracting, developing, and retaining superior and diverse supply chain talent. Track record of building robust and diverse leadership pipelines.

    + Leading and developing high performing senior end-to-end teams.

    + Strong understanding of medical technology and new product introduction processes.

    + Direct knowledge of MedTech and the GMS business preferred.

    + Successful track record of leading a large, complex, global businesses.

    + Experience working in a complex matrix organization and achieving results though leveraging internal and external partners.

    + Demonstrated success in regulated environments (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or consumer packaged goods)

    + Travel required up to 40% domestic & international

    Additional Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + High level of business acumen and understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes to have foresight to key risk areas and expertise to support risk mitigation.

    + Strategic Supply Chain thinking and vision – ability to visualize a high performing supply chain and support the development of business processes to deliver.

    + Strong financial acumen in managing large program budgets and translating program deliverables and business models into future cost projections.

    + Able to manage complex transformational projects/programs, across a wide set of functions, to deliver transformational business outcomes.

    + Broad-based understanding of core supply chain and packaging areas of focus (Spend Management: Category Management and Supplier Management).

    + Multi-county and Multi sector experience preferred with experience across geographies of varied sizes and businesses.

    199,000-366,000

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

    • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
