    Job Description:

    As a Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and managing advanced maintenance strategies to optimize the performance and reliability of critical assets. Your role will involve analyzing data from various monitoring technologies, such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis, to predict equipment failures and recommend corrective actions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to develop and refine CBM programs tailored to specific equipment and operational needs. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise and training to maintenance personnel, ensuring the effective application of CBM techniques. Your efforts will contribute to minimizing downtime, reducing maintenance costs, and enhancing the overall efficiency of our energy production and delivery systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Condition Monitoring and Data Analysis:** Leverage advanced diagnostic tools such as motor circuit evaluation testers, vibration analyzers, infrared thermography, ultrasonic detectors, and oil analysis kits to evaluate equipment health. Analyze data to detect trends and potential issues, enabling timely maintenance interventions.

    + **Performance Analysis:** utilize technologies such as OIS, Maximo, PDMA, and Insight CM for conducting routine inspections and analyzing equipment performance.

    + **Reporting and Integration:** Generate detailed reports on equipment conditions and recommend maintenance actions to support informed decision-making. Work with planning teams and maintenance specialists to incorporate CBM insights into maintenance plans, aligning with operational objectives. Work with multiple reporting technologies to summarize findings (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, etc.)

    + **Communication and Coordination:** Foster collaboration across departments by building strong relationships. Effectively communicate with plant management, corporate teams, vendors, and utility experts regarding operations, maintenance, repairs, replacements, modifications, improvements, and scheduling.

    + **Routine Rounds:** Conduct regular inspections of critical equipment, promptly communicating any changes, issues, or deficiencies.

    + **Root Cause Analysis:** Lead investigations and root cause analyses for equipment failures, ensuring the implementation of effective solutions.

    + **Technology and Optimization:** Stay updated on the latest condition monitoring technologies and methodologies, implementing best practices and innovative solutions. Continuously refine CBM processes to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve overall plant performance.

    + **Administrative Responsibilities:**

    + **Condition Report Administration:** Oversee the review and management of condition reports at the McIntosh CT site.

    + **PM Coordination:** Serve as the primary PM coordinator for Coastal Generation, ensuring preventive maintenance activities are well-planned and executed.

    + **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to all safety policies including the Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) process to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.

    + **Vendor Management:** Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, analyzing acceptance data on new/rebuilt equipment.

    + **Callout Responsibilities:** Be available for on-call duties as required.

    Job Requirements (Education/Experience Requirements):

    + Preferred experience in motor testing analysis.

    + Preferred experience in oil or vibration analysis is advantageous.

    + Preferred experience with infrared thermography

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    + Proficiency with a range of electronic field equipment and tools.

    + Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.

    + Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

    + Preferred experience with Maximo and Oracle.

    + Strong relationship-building skills.

    + Proven ability to manage crisis situations effectively.
