About the Role & Program:
The Ad Sales Finance group is looking for an intern to support the various leaders within FP&A, Operational Expense, Ad Sales Analytics and Strategy. T Through the internship, you will gain exposure to all Ad Sales Finance functions, in addition to collaborating with multiple internal teams, including product, sales, operations, and business development. This internship is within a fast-growing business unit and will unlock career opportunities in both Finance and the Advertising industry. What You Will Do:
+ Evaluating the financial impact of new advertising products and capabilities. Leverage data as a daily habit to elevate insights and trends
+ Forecasting & Budgeting: work closely with FP&A team to build out and maintain forecasting models for advertising sales inventory and P&L
+ Work within Excel Modeling to help provide strategic Ad Sales insights
+ Presentation & Decision support: Assist team with the process of creating presentations to support executive decision-making. Regularly present analytical insights to improve operational efficiency or evaluate revenue opportunities
+ Completing secondary market research to identify key trends and inform five-year strategic plan
+ Create ad hoc financial models and analyses to support decision making and strategic initiatives
+ Complete market research and track industry trends
+ Closely manage projects from beginning to end: manage day-to-day communication and provide updates to leadership team, identify key issues and manage data gathering
+ Develop executive-level presentations to summarize strategic initiatives for leadership team
Required Qualifications & Skills:
+ Interest in advertising, media entertainment, or technology industries
+ Technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modeling and data analytics
+ Strong analytic mindset, ability to structure projects and handle ambiguous data
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
+ The ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
+ Superb organizational skills, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
+ Self-motivated problem-solver with a strong desire to contribute to the team and Company’s success
Education:
+ Junior or Senior Year preferred
+ Major or previous coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related area
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
+ Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
+ Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
+ Be at least 18 years of age
+ Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information** **:
+ Available to work full time (40 hours per week) during traditional business hours for the duration of the internship
+ Able to provide your own housing and transportation in the New York, NY area
+ The position will be hybrid, working some days in the office and some days remotely each week and requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
