Safety Supervisor – Mulberry, FL

Pay: $30 per hour | Schedule: Monday–Friday, some weekends | Full-Time

Road & Rail Services is seeking a Safety Supervisor to support our industrial rail and bulk material handling operation in Mulberry, Florida. This position is key to maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with OSHA, FRA, and MSHA standards, and promoting a strong safety culture in partnership with site management and our customer. If you have hands-on experience in industrial safety and enjoy working in the field with crews, this role offers an excellent opportunity to lead by example and make a real difference.

As a Safety Supervisor, you'll spend most of your time in the field observing work, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring safe work practices are followed. Your mornings may start with a safety walk, a toolbox talk, or a quick meeting with supervisors to discuss the day's activities. You will help present established safety training programs developed by Road & Rail Services and our customer, reinforcing critical safety topics and supporting team engagement.

When incidents or near-misses occur, you'll assist with investigations, contribute to root cause analysis, and help verify corrective actions are completed. You'll also support compliance documentation, track key safety metrics, and communicate updates to local and regional management. Occasionally, you may assist at nearby Tampa TransFlo facilities to provide additional safety coverage or training support as needed.

We're looking for candidates with 3–7 years of experience in industrial, construction, or railroad environments, with a strong understanding of OSHA and FRA regulations. OSHA 30 certification is required, and OSHA 500/510 or MSHA certifications are preferred. You should be confident communicating with employees, contractors, and managers, and able to build trust while holding teams accountable for safe behavior. An associate degree or equivalent experience in safety or industrial operations is preferred but not required.
