3rd Shift: 12am/midnight-8am

1st Shift: 8am- 4pm

As a Corn Cooker, you will p repare raw batches of corn to be used in the production of corn-based products.

Areas of Responsibilities :

+ DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Prepare batches of corn by filling kettle with water and adding corn and lime

+ Observe and maintain cooking time

+ Cook corn and agitate, then transfer to the holding tank

+ Must be able to lift to 50 pounds

+ WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITES:

+ Perform Weekly/Weekend cleaning on kettles, tanks, and surrounding areas

+ Work with cleaning chemicals

+ Always utilize all required PPE .

+ OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Perform any added duties as assigned by supervision

+ Attend required training sessions

+ Work overtime, as required

+ Follow GHP (Good Housekeeping practices) as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

+ Work towards attaining and maintaining GFSI & BRC certifications

Education and Experience:

Required:

+ GENERAL EDUCATION

+ ABILITY TO FOLLOW VERBAL AND WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND COMMUNICATION

Preferred:

+ HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR G.E.D.

+ ADVANCED SCHOOLING
