    Description

    AFCU is actively recruiting for a Part Time Teller at the Mt. Hope branch. The hours are Wednesdays & Fridays & every Saturday from 9am-1pm.

     

    The salary range for this position is $19.00 per hour- $20.00 per hour.

     

    The successful candidate will maintain a friendly, approachable and professional attitude in servicing members according to credit union expectations; businesslike appearance, Receives and processes member financial and service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, corporate checks, VISA cash advances, debit card issuance, and other activities.

     

    + Maintains knowledge of products and services in order to properly assist members.

    + Balances cash drawer and accurately processes transactions; assists in open/close activity and with end of day efforts to balance the branch.

    + Achieves teller referral goals and participates in contests and other branch efforts to generate business.

    + Attend training as required.

    + Actively participates in the coaching process.

    + Supports all aspects of branch sales, operations and servicing in the absence of management. In a SEG branch, the teller is expected to assume greater responsibility. The Teller assists management in maintaining defined audit, cash handling and cash ordering procedures. Orders supplies from in-house and outside vendors. Assists in other branch operational duties. Operate independently in the absence of the Branch Manager.

    + Performs other job related duties as assigned.

    Position Requirements

    Up to six months of similar or related experience, A high school education or GED is required..
