Job Description

Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations

Assisting physicians with small procedures during patient visits

Conducting patient assessments and recording medical histories

Assisting with the insertion and removal of IUDs

Providing patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention

Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations

Skills and Requirements

CMA certification/diploma

Experience in Internal Medicine (IM), Family Medicine (FM), or Women’s Health

Experience administering immunizations and vaccinations Ability to handle a high volume of patients, especially if coming from a specialist background

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably Epic

BLS certification
