    Job Description

    An employer is looking for a Remote Unified Communications Engineer. This person will need to have experience with an emphasis on the migration of phones from Teams to Zoom. They will lead the transition from Microsoft Teams to Zoom, including the implementation of Zoom Phone as the primary VoIP solution. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting Zoom-based communication systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure, and delivering a high-quality user experience across the organization.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    6+ years of experience as a Unified Communications Engineer or similar

     

    5+ years of experience in Zoom platform administration, including Zoom Phone.

     

    5+ years of experience in consolidating systems

     

    5+ years of hands-on experience with VoIP technologies, SIP protocols, and network fundamentals.

     

    Experience with Microsoft Teams, including migration strategies and coexistence planning.

     

    Familiarity with identity management systems (e.g., Azure AD, Okta) and SSO integration.

     

    Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

    Strong experience with AWS as a cloud

    Strong communication and documentation skills. Certifications in Zoom, Microsoft, or VoIP technologies (e.g., Zoom Certified Integrator, Microsoft 365 Certified).

     

    Experience with UCaaS platforms and enterprise collaboration tools.

     

    Background in project management or experience working in Agile environments.
