Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Data Process Engineer to sit on site in San Antonio, Texas. This person will play a critical role in improving the company's operating budget workflows by analyzing inefficiencies, designing streamlined processes, and implementing automation solutions. This position directly supports the organization’s strategic objectives of financial transparency, resource efficiency, and compliance. Primary Goal: Drive efficiency and effectiveness in budget processes through process redesign and technology adoption.

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as a Data Process Engineer within public sector/government sector

- Prior work experience where you have been in charge of budget modernization initiatives

- Lean Six Sigma

- Process Mapping tools

- Strong data analysis skills (beyond basic reporting; ability to interpret and model data). Ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps.

Strong business acumen to ask the right questions.

Technical aptitude for workflow automation and financial systems.

Data-driven mindset with attention to detail.
