    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a mid-level Facility Manager to oversee operations at Skatequest. This is a hands-on leadership role managing a busy, high-traffic facility and a team of 6–7 staff members. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, quick learner, and committed to long-term growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    Oversee day-to-day operations of the ice rink and front desk.

     

    Lead, train, and schedule a team of 6–7 employees; hire and onboard new staff as needed.

     

    Ensure smooth coordination between multiple departments (skating, food & beverage, events).

     

    Monitor facility equipment and coordinate with contractors for maintenance (90% of engineering work is outsourced).

     

    Learn and master rink operations (e.g., Zamboni) within the first year and train others.

     

    Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 7 YOE Facilities Management experience – ideally commercial facilities background.

     

    - Leadership/supervisory experience—leading a team of 6-7 individuals ranging from facility maintenance staff to front desk etc.

     

    - Strong Communication with experience managing multiple teams.
