• Metering Field Service Technician

    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is looking for a Metering Field Service Representative to join their team. This role requires you to travel every 4-6 weeks to various CONUS and OCONUS locations. In this position you will be responsible for performing on-site inspections, testing of utility control systems and ensuring proper functionality.

    Skills and Requirements

    8 years of relative experience

     

    Knowledge of ICS, SCADA, BMS, PLC and Metering systems and how they operate.

     

    Understand electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams, control diagrams, prints, building operations, and understanding of electrical theory

     

    Bachelors degree or higher in a related field (will consider high school education + 16 years of experience)

     

    Able to travel CONUS & OCONUS

     

    Active Secret clearance + Active CAC Field service experience, preferably with the following programs/software: Metasys, Niagara, Rockwell Factory Talk; Tridium; Schneider Electric: Powerlogic/Struxureware; Siemens: Apogee; Ignition: Inductive Automation; Eaton Networks; Field Servers; Jace Controllers; Bacnet.

     

    Ability to integrate Sensors, peripheral devices

     

    Ability to program Points and Tags in the HMI.

     

    Ability to update firm ware updates on device
