• Welding Quality Inspector/Technician

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Welding Quality Inspector/Technician to perform welding quality inspections, testing, and verification of plans and materials before, during, and after the manufacturing and/or construction process to ensure compliance with company and customer standards. The technicians will primarily work the second shift, generally from 2:30 - 11 p.m., with potential for overtime. This role is located on-site in Vancouver. This will be a 6-month contract to start with opportunity for extensions. This opportunity will involve travel to Gaven HQ in Pittsburgh for training before working at that site the week of December 1, 2025.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -3-5 years of experience within the welding space and experience with welding quality standards

     

    -CWI or CAWI welding certification preferred.

     

    -Ability to read construction drawings

     

    -Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and tape measures

     

    -Read and interpret vendor specification sheets
