Job Description
Day to day breakdown:
As a Gas Insulated Switchgear Training Specialist, you will be an integral part of the training team, supporting various projects and initiatives to drive training classes for Gas Insulated Switchgear. You will collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement training.
Functions:
Assist in the design and development of cyme classes, under the guidance of senior engineers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, define project objectives, and ensure classes meet quality standards.
Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in engineering technology, applying knowledge to improve processes and methodologies

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in the power industry (utility substations) 38av voltage
• Experience with Switchgears and Breakers
• Someone who has overseen the protection of equipment
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD, Microsoft Office Suite)
Experience instructing or training within a classroom setting • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
• Someone with gas insulated switch gear or gas insulated breaker experience & who has done physical work w/ them
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Certification or training in relevant engineering disciplines.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.
• LMS systems experience
