SUMMARY
Provides clinical supervision to therapists, including overseeing the therapy services provided to clients, development and implementation of service plans, and ensuring the quality of the services provided to individual clients. Regularly reviews documentation to ensure compliance. Proactively addresses any client issues with respect to therapeutic services. Supervises staff as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
_To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:_
• Supervises and oversees counselors and psychological services to ensure quality psychological evaluations and services for Sevita program participants.
• Establishes liaisons with consulting staff (physicians, psychologist, etc.) and mentors to ensure coordinated service delivery to client. Consults to all treatment teams and psych staff on assessment and interpretation as needed.
• Provides individual and family psychotherapy as needed. May assess and assign intakes; monitor daily census and any corresponding referral sources.
• Ensures program compliance with all corporate and legal requirements. Ensures adherence to accreditation standards for disciplines and department in accordance with APA and state guidelines.
• Participates in programmatic meetings regarding program development, policies, and procedures, program evaluator, etc. as needed. May assist in the development and implementation of residential programs and oversight of clinical services.
Job Description for Supervisor, Clinical
• Assembles program statistics for reporting as needed and provides necessary documentation for billing and mentor payroll if necessary.
• Provides on-call support by participating in on-call rotation as scheduled and providing consultation with team members as assistance is needed.
• May develop and implement crisis intervention emergency procedures, oversee Utilization Review, Quality Assurance, investigations, internal evaluations and participate in emergency coverage system.
• Assists in the overall management of the program and staff as directed by Program Manager or in the absence of Program Manager. May oversee recruitment, matching, contracting, performance evaluations and reimbursement for mentors.
• Ensures development of comprehensive training for clinical staff, mentors, program participates and their families as needed.
• Performs other related duties and activities as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs and supervises assigned staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

_Education and Experience:_
+ Master’s degree in human services
+ Three years of related experience with one year experience in clinical supervision.
+ In MD CFS, requires a Master’s degree in social work and Board Certification as a Supervisor.
_Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:_
+ Licensure and/or certification as required by state
+ Current driver's license, car registration and auto insurance if providing transportation to individuals receiving services.
+ In MD CFS requires LCSW-C

_Physical Requirements:_
+ **Light work** . Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work
