The role you'll contribute:

The Support Services Operations Manager effectively oversees and collaborates with multiple departments for AdventHealth hospital in a manner that promotes the hospitals' image in a positive and service-oriented way. The Support Services Operations Manager is responsible for the Volunteer Services Program and staff not limited to scheduling, evaluating, planning, organizing, and managing operations, programs, and special projects. The Support Services Operations Manager partners with departments across the hospital to assist in data analytics, events, performance improvement initiatives, as well as special projects as needed. Also presenting as a key figure in the Hospitals' Auxiliary and is responsible for the retail management of the main hospital Gift Shop. The Manager works very closely and collaboratively with hospital leadership, Patient Experience, Marketing, physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff in operations and support.

The value you'll bring to the team:

+ Manages support services by assessing organizational needs and capacity for volunteers and concierge staff.

+ Builds professional relationships with teams across the hospital to offer support on events, performance improvement projects, patient engagement initiatives, and other special projects.

+ Performs various Human Resources responsibilities for the Volunteer Services department, including preparing work schedules to maximize effectiveness.

+ Continuously evaluates and streamlines processes to reduce expenses and meet budget requirements.

+ Strictly enforces the privacy and confidentiality of all visitors and vendors.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Preferred

+ 1-year supervisory experience Required
