    Roles and Responsibilities

    + Operates with autonomy to execute assigned programs delivering on cost, schedule, performance and fully informing customers on status.

    + Leads proposal preparation to win targeted contracts.

    + Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.

    + Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

    + May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

    + Builds strong relationships of trust with customer base through transparent communication, delivery on promises, and responsiveness to requests.

    + Creates and shapes opportunities for contracted research and development toward Edison Works strategic capabilities.

    + Contributes to Edison Works strategic planning.

    + Works with other business units to create and maintain programmatic processes unique to Edison Works technology development.

    + Advises on company funded technology development to close capability gaps and may provide program management oversight to individual projects.

    Required Qualifications

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing multiple complex programs or products in a defense environment, to include cost, schedule and performance responsibility

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience developing or supporting proposal development in response to USG and prime contractor requests

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in the US DoD Special Access Program enterprise

    + This role is restricted to U.S. citizens

    + Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance

    + Requires strong knowledge of the US military customer, especially the acquisition arms of the military departments

    + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

    _This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
