Material Handler – Aerospace Manufacturing

**Location:** Ronkonkoma, NY

**Pay Rate:** $20.00 per hour

**Shift:** 1st Shift | Monday–Friday

**Type:** Temp-to-Perm

Position Overview:

PDS Tech is hiring a **Material Handler** to support a leading aerospace manufacturer in Ronkonkoma, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing team that produces critical components for the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of material flow—from receiving and inventory management to supporting production lines with accuracy and efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

+ Perform material picking, receiving, and cycle counting to ensure accurate inventory levels.

+ Use computer systems to process transactions, record receipts, and maintain production material data.

+ Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and inspect materials for accuracy and quality.

+ Stage and deliver materials to the correct departments to support continuous production operations.

+ Maintain organized work areas and follow all company and safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Proficiency with computers and basic data entry.

+ Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

+ Strong attention to detail with experience in material picking and receiving.

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.

+ Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and safety.

+ Familiarity with forklifts or pallet jacks

Preferred but Not Required:

+ Experience using Microsoft Excel.

Education & Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

**Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
