We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a **Planning Analyst** **in Lafeyette, IN.**

Job Summary** **:

+ The **Planning Analyst** provides day-to-day technical and administrative support for operational management activities.

**Additional Info** :

+ This role will be based in Lafeyette, IN initially and will transition to Lebanon, IN in the future. Relocation assistance is not available.

+ This role is 1st shift

+ This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules

+ This role requires up to 10% domestic travel

What You Will Do:

+ Assisting in communicating with procurement, material planning, inventory, distribution to minimize cost and improve efficiency.

+ Providing technical support and assistance on operational management.

+ Inputting data into supply chain application system; maintaining the system on a regular basis.

+ Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on supply chain operation.

What You Have (Required Skills):

+ **Analytical Thinking** : Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

+ **Problem Solving** : Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

+ **Logistics Management** : Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand, predict and control the movement of goods, materials and supplies.

+ **Accuracy and Attention to Detail** : Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

Summary Pay Range:

$87,480.00 - $131,280.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
