    Summary:

    As part of a cohesive Finance Team across 3 sites (Sarasota, Twinsburg and Chihuahua) this role will support the Head of Controlling with all Industrial Finance matters relating to manufacturing accounting, cost performance analysis & Inventory. The role holder will be accountable for the calculation & analysis of site manufacturing rates, standard cost computation and all Financial KPI's relating to manufacturing performance, including the achievement of improvement action plans.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    MRO - Maintenance Repair and Overhaul

    • Play a key role in the department in terms of providing analysis and financial advice – MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) Specific – Sales & Margin Analysis, Arrears & Order Book Review, Profitability & Gross Margin Analysis, Opex Control.

    • Productivity & Efficiency KPI's: define the process, identify gaps vs current tracking system, set up improvement action plans with the Head of Manufacturing. Contribute to workload vs Capacity analysis.

    • Present Manufacturing Budgetary control with corrective actions to Head of Industry and Finance on a monthly basis, with visibility of spending over the next 3 months.

    • Review, Challenge & Account for MRO Warranty Costs, Subcontracting, Exchange Pools, Productivity and Efficiency, Time Tracking, and Labor and Burden Postings

    • Work with MRO team & Financial Accounting on Monthly MRO Opex & Capex costs, reclasses, allocations and Journal postings

    • Undertake the review of the Average Costing within MRO, including review of BOM and Routings, Purchase Costs, Repair Costs and Valuation Types

    • Challenge MRO CSR team on Billing Issues, Payment Terms, Collections, Credit Notes and Quote accuracy.

    OE - Original Equipment

    • Monthly Reporting and Analysis of all Industrials KPI's including Manufacturing & Purchasing, Under/Over recovery, Production Variances, Scrap and Rework Spend, Department Spend, and Productivity & Efficiency KPI's

    • Support Annual Mid Term Plan (MTP) , focusing on Margins & Manufacturing performance evolution & updating for Monthly Rolling Forecasts where applicable.

    • Productivity & Efficiency KPI's: define the process, identify gaps vs current tracking system, set up improvement action plans with the Head of Manufacturing. Contribute to workload vs Capacity analysis.

    • Present Manufacturing Budgetary control with corrective actions to Head of Industry and Finance on a monthly basis, with visibility of spending over the next 3 months.

    Month End & General

    • Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture

    • Month End Closing support includes; Calculation of E&O Reserve, Scrap Accruals, Inventory Balance Sheet Reconciliations and ensuring compliance with Safran policies.

    Candidate skills & requirements

    Education and/or Experience

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

    • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

    Knowledge/Skills

    • Ability to work with other team members to achieve desired results - Expert

    • Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI)

    • Must possess the ability to run and analyze Accounting reports and data - Expert

    • Familiar with SAP - Prefered

    • Organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines – Expert

    • Proactive in identifying Cost saving opportunity

    • Independent and solution-oriented way of working

    Physical Demands:

    This position sits and performs computer work for extended periods of time.
