The Opportunity
This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Lingo Division. Working on Lingo, you will help build a next-generation technology that enables individuals to make decisions about how to improve energy, lose weight or enhance athletic performance.
What You'll Work On:
+ Build and maintain features across our Next.js web application and Azure Functions backend in a modern TypeScript monorepo
+ Develop responsive, accessible UI components using React and Tailwind CSS
+ Integrate third-party services including CommerceTools, Contentful CMS, Auth0, Braze, and payment providers
+ Write comprehensive tests using Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright
+ Collaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
+ Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
+ Debug and resolve issues across the full stack, from UI to serverless functions
+ Work with marketing and analytics teams to implement tracking and customer engagement features
+ Contribute to our monorepo architecture using Turborepo and pnpm workspaces
Required Qualifications:
+ 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience
+ Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
+ Hands-on experience building production applications with React and Next.js (or similar frameworks like Remix, Gatsby)
+ Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
+ Familiarity with modern CSS approaches (Tailwind CSS, CSS-in-JS, or styled-components)
+ Understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility standards
+ Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
+ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with Next.js (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions)
+ Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure (Functions, Service Bus, Blob Storage) or AWS
+ Experience with e-commerce platforms like CommerceTools or similar
+ Familiarity with headless CMS systems such as Strapi orContentful
+ Experience with payment integration and PCI compliance
+ Knowledge of authentication systems like Auth0, NextAuth, or similar
+ Understanding of monorepo architectures using Turborepo
+ Familiarity with testing frameworks: Vitest, Jest, Playwright, or Cypress
+ Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
+ Knowledge of error monitoring tools like Sentry or similar APM solutions

The base pay for this position is $86,700.00 – $173,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
