Senior Accountant – 4-Month Contract | $50/hr |
**Location:** North Canton, OH/ Onsite
**Pay:** $50/hour
**Contract Length:** 4 months (potential for extension)

As a **Senior Accountant** , you’ll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness across financial operations. You’ll manage monthly close activities, prepare reconciliations, analyze financial data, and support audit and reporting functions — helping keep our accounting engine running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
+ Lead monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses
+ Manage intercompany transactions and ensure account accuracy across multiple entities
+ Prepare and review financial reports in compliance with GAAP
+ Handle the full cycle of fixed asset management and bank reconciliations
+ Support audits, financial statement reviews, and ad hoc financial analyses
+ Collaborate with the Accounting Manager, Controller, and FP&A team on special projects
What You’ll Bring
+ **Bachelor’s degree** in Accounting or Finance (required)
+ **3–5 years** of progressive accounting experience
+ Strong understanding of **GAAP** and corporate accounting practices
+ Advanced **Excel skills** (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, large data sets)
+ Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with a commitment to accuracy
+ Experience with **Salesforce** or **Great Plains** a plus
