Responsibilities

+ Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized OT treatment plans for inpatient populations

+ Assist patients in regaining functional independence in activities of daily living (ADLs)

+ Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home safety

+ Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes

+ Document patient progress accurately and comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Education:

+ Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree

Certification/License:

+ Active, Occupational Therapist license issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health

+ Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire
