    This pivotal role within Ford's Industrial System IT group is centered on advancing the company's Product Creation & Virtual Manufacturing Processes through strategic technology implementation and upgrades. The Specialist will primarily focus on Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) domain applications and solutions, ensuring their successful deployment and evolution.

    Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Developing project plans and defining scope, goals, and deliverables for technology application development and implementation in Engineering Platforms and manufacturing engineering.

    + Driving problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives through collaboration with IT teams and technology vendors.

    + Facilitating efficient, streamlined development efforts between internal teams and external technology providers.

    + Communicating status updates to stakeholders with quantitative measurements.

    + Ensuring project and program objectives, deliverables, and results are completed within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and allocated resources.

    + Providing accurate analysis and reporting in a clear format.

    + Identifying risks and creating mitigation plans for timely project completion.

    + Managing technology product goals and forecasts, translating long-term objectives into actionable strategy and implementation roadmaps with technical development teams.

    + Guiding execution using standard frameworks and development lifecycle methodologies using Agile.

    Must Have Position Qualifications and Experiences:

    + A bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent technical field.

    + Over 10 years of total experience in managing Software/technology projects within the PLM domain.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and SAFe certification.

    + Working experience in implementing projects using Agile Project Management Methodologies.

    + Working experience in managing infrastructure for large applications hosted in multiple regions.

    Nice to have Skills:

    + The ability to guide, motivate, and influence diverse teams and stakeholders without direct hierarchical authority.

    + Articulating complex technical information clearly to various audiences, facilitating discussions, and presenting compelling arguments.

    + Understanding how technology initiatives align with broader business goals and contributing to long-term strategic objectives.

    + Skillfully mediating disagreements, finding common ground, and negotiating favorable outcomes with internal and external parties.

    + Deeply analyzing issues, evaluating solutions, and making data-driven decisions under pressure.

    + Comfortably navigating ambiguity, embracing change, and effectively managing unexpected challenges or setbacks.

    + Overseeing external technology providers, managing relationships, and ensuring contractual obligations are met.

    + Effectively forecasting, tracking, and managing project budgets to ensure financial prudence and adherence to allocated resources.
