As a **Direct Support Professional (DSP)** fluent in **American Sign Language (ASL)** , you’ll work 1-on-1 with clients who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, supporting them in their homes and community. You’ll help bridge communication and ensure clients receive compassionate, person-centered care.

Your day may include:

+ Using ASL and visual communication to engage with your clients

+ Light housekeeping, including organizing and basic cleaning

+ Personal activities such as dressing, grooming, and assisting with meals

+ Accompanying clients to appointments or community activities

+ Supporting your clients in achieving their goals as assigned by the Individual Support Team (IST)

Eligibility Requirements:

+ **Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)** required

+ Letter of Reference showing at least 1 year of experience

+ Access to insured and reliable transportation

+ Dedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training
