Vice President of Marketing

Key Tasks

The Vice President, Marketing (Americas) leads the regional marketing organization responsible for downstream strategy, execution, and performance across all portfolios: Power Wheelchairs, Manual Wheelchairs, Power Assist Devices, Seating & Positioning, and PDG. This leader drives how innovation from Permobil’s global nodes becomes market success through launch readiness, portfolio ownership, brand storytelling, and digital engagement.

The role combines strategic direction and hands-on leadership, ensuring the Americas region delivers measurable impact in brand preference, market share, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Commercialization

Lead downstream strategy and execution for all product categories.

Own launch readiness, positioning, pricing localization, and regional sales enablement.

Partner with Sales/Education to drive product training, events, and trade show execution.

Maintain alignment between regional commercialization and global innovation nodes.

2. Brand and Digital Engagement

Strengthen Permobil’s market presence through unified brand storytelling, content strategy, and digital marketing.

Oversee creative, video, and campaign execution across platforms and channels.

Ensure brand consistency while localizing messaging for regional markets.

Expand reach through digital campaigns, social engagement, and end-user storytelling.

3. Marketing Operations and Insights

Lead marketing operations and performance management, including budgeting, dashboards, and KPIs.

Integrate marketing automation and analytics tools to track impact and ROI.

Simplify and standardize marketing processes for cross-functional visibility and agility.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Sales, Customer Experience, and Clinical Education to align commercial execution.

Serve as the primary marketing liaison to global functions including Innovation and Communications.

Coordinate government affairs messaging and advocacy initiatives with internal partners.

5. Leadership and Team Development

Lead a high-performing commercial marketing team spanning product, brand, digital, and operations disciplines.

Build a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Develop and coach talent to ensure career growth and succession readiness.

Your Background

You have a High School Diploma or equivalent education.

12+ years in marketing or commercial leadership, with at least 5 years leading multidisciplinary teams.

Proven success driving commercialization and go-to-market execution for complex, multi-product portfolios.

Strong understanding of brand management, digital marketing, and sales enablement.

Exceptional communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Experience leading organizational change and building scalable processes.
