Unit Coordinator

**Department:** Atrium East – Med/Surg - Our Atrium East unit at our Chelsea hospital cares for Medical-Surgical patients. Patient diagnoses can vary from medical such as: COPD, Sepsis, withdrawal, GI bleeds, CHF or Surgical: bariatric, Mastectomy, colorectal surgeries, hernias. This unit has 24 beds and specializes in complex high acuity medical and surgical patients with length of stay from 3-5 days.

**Location:** Chelsea, MI hospital

**Minimum pay rate:** $15.46/hr + based upon applicable on the job experience

•​The Unit Coordinator/Secretary is responsible for a variety of activities involving clerical support, obtaining requested medical records by the medical team, and providing support to patients and staff in the unit​

**Shift Available:** 3pm-11:30pm

**Status Available:** Full time, benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period – every two weeks)

_Every other_ _weekend rotation_

Required Qualifications

+ ​​Minimum of high school education

+ ​Recent unit secretary experiencepreferred

+ ​Medical terminology preferred​
