    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is looking for **Quality Engineers** to support the **Airplane Production** based out of **Everett, Washington.

     

    The Quality Engineering (QE) team at Boeing Everett is looking for talented engineers to join our team. QEs work with other engineering functions and the production team to solve complex problems in the Quality Management System.

     

    QEs work close to the product every day and are empowered to think creatively to eliminate defects and improve first pass quality. QEs lead problem solving and root cause corrective action activities, perform advanced data analysis, and report out to leadership at all levels.

     

    Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Mid-level, and Experienced Quality Engineers.

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation

    + Analyze engineering documentation to determine process capability and conformance

    + Perform audits of critical safety statement of work for engineering, build plan, and conformance planning improvements

    + Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.

    + Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions

    + Review and improve current build plan for simplification and standardization

    + Works under general supervision

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

    + 2+ years experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or another regulated industry

    + 2+ years experience reviewing, authoring technical documentation, collecting, organizing and analyzing data, summarizing findings, and developing conclusions

    + 2+ years experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution processes

    + 2+ years experience managing projects with cross-functional stakeholders and teammates

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + Lean Six Sigma certification

    + Experience leading or managing projects and teams

    + Experience working in a Quality Engineering or other production engineering job role

    + Experience with analytics tools & software

    + Proactive and collaborative mindset with an emphasis on positive relationships

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    **Summary pay range** :

     

    Level 2: $85,850 - $116,150

     

    Level 3: $102,000 - $138,000
