Overview
Manpower Healthcare is seeking an experienced **Registered Nurse to serve as a Contract Healthcare Director** to join the leadership team at one of **our client’s senior living communities** in Greater Fairmont, WV. This **13-week contract** role provides day-to-day leadership for the nursing department, ensuring quality resident care, staff support, and compliance with all healthcare regulations.
As a key member of the local executive team, you’ll oversee a dedicated staff of nurses, medication technicians, and nursing assistants to maintain the highest standards of resident health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee daily healthcare operations within the community, ensuring compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations.
+ Lead, coach, and support a team of nurses, medication technicians, and CNAs to deliver exceptional resident care.
+ Conduct resident evaluations prior to move-in and ongoing reassessments as required.
+ Develop, implement, and review individualized service plans in collaboration with residents, families, physicians, and other care partners.
+ Manage the community’s medication administration program and perform regular audits to maintain safety and compliance.
+ Serve as the community’s **infection preventionist** , leading efforts to prevent and control communicable illnesses.
+ Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) activities, including care audits and risk reviews.
+ Support recruitment, training, and performance management of resident care staff.
+ Collaborate with the Executive Director on departmental budgeting and with Sales & Marketing leadership on care-related initiatives.
+ Oversee medical operations for the community

Qualifications
+ **Active RN license** in the State of West Virginia (unencumbered).
+ Minimum **2 years of nursing leadership experience** preferred.
+ Experience in assisted living, long-term care, and/or senior living strongly preferred.
+ Current **CPR certification** .
+ Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.
+ Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 25 pounds unassisted.
